To promote, protect and safeguard the interests and future of the Nuclear Medicine Physicists/Technologists fraternity and fulfill its duties towards the society. To undertake scientific projects & knowledge – based activities for the advancement and dignity of Medical Radioisotope technology, Radiopharmacy & Radiation protection techniques. To encourage and develop meaningful co-operation amongst persons engaged in the field of Nuclear Medicine, directly or indirectly, irrespective of caste, color or creed, on all subjects connecting with and involving of their common good. To provide a forum to represent and express advancement issues to the appropriate authorities and to encourage them to implement the suggestions of physicists in field of Nuclear Medicine. To institute, encourage, develop and progress all kinds of scientific research relating to Medical Radioisotope technology, Radiopharmacy & Radiation protection techniques.
